TomTom uses the US Government's Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite technology to accurately place where you are. TomTom released their first complete SatNav device, the TomTom GO, in 2004 and a year later introduced their first specific motorcycle SatNav the TomTom Rider. TomTom continues to develop their SatNavs, with MP3 players, Wi-Fi, text-to-speech messaging, voice control, hands-free calling, and wider screens.
