The latest incarnation of the exceptionally popular GP Plus R jacket - the Alpinestars GP Plus R V3 leather motorcycle jacket is a sports leather jacket constructed from highly durable and technical premium 1.3 leather chassis with multi-panels for superb abrasion resistance, with reinforced stitching for optimum tear resistance in the event of an impact. In addition, it features Alpinestars race-derived, CE-approved Nucleon Flex Plus removable internal shoulder and elbow protectors. At the shoulder, over-moulded advanced TPU guard protection layered under the outer fabric for optimised levels of protection and comfort, chest and back pad compartments with PE padding (Alpinestars chest and back protector inserts available separately). The GP Plus R V3 jacket also offers extensive advancedHRSF High Resistant Stretch Fabric inserts strategically positioned on the chest, underarm and rear shoulders for an excellent fit optimised for all riding styles and positions - this also helps keep the jacket sleeves positioned close to the rider's body. In addition, accordion leather stretch panels above elbow areas allow a more excellent range of movement and help reduce arm fatigue. In addition, perforated padded panels integrated into the main shell and sleeves give an improved fit, and a pre-curved sleeve construction helps reduce riding fatigue and prevent material bunching. A combination snap button and zip wrist closures provide a secure and customised fit and Velcro and D-ring waist adjustments for the perfect fit. In addition, it also offers zipped ventilation inlets on the shoulders to allow efficient regulation of interior temperature. A soft 3D mesh collar plus 3D mesh cuff edging gives improved comfort and breathability, mesh liner for improved breathability, comfort and ventilation.
