With a main chassis of 35% sport leather and 65% stretch textile, the Alpinestars Proton Waterproof motorcycle jacket offers outstanding protection. It is Alpinestars Tech-Air ready and is CE certified to CE - Category II prEN17092 standards with A Class CE Level 2 EN1621:1:2012 Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder and elbow armour (with pockets for chest and back protectors sold separately) and GP Lite shoulders with dynamic friction shields on the shoulders for enhanced impact protection. It also features a sports body-mapped fit with pre-curved sleeves for optimal riding comfort. Large direct ventilation panels at the chest give superior levels of airflow, while a detachable thermal liner (100g body and 80g sleeves) gives added warmth in cooler conditions. The rear of the jacket is elongated to prevent weather ingress, and polyamide stretch panels at the armpits, inner arms and shoulder blades give an exceptional fit and comfort in the riding position - and off! The zip front closure is ultra-durable and easy to use, with a hook and loop waist for secure and personalised closure. A 2L waterproof membrane keeps you dry, and a low-profile sports collar with soft lining is ultra comfortable.
