Extremely lightweight but with optimum protection, the Alpinestars SX-1 V2 Knee Protectors are the latest evolution (hence the V2, version 2) of the hugely popular Alpinestars SX-1 armour, with improvements. These are the most breathable design yet and the upper and lower frames are constructed from a high-performance polymeric material blend for high levels of flexibility and strength as well as excellent weight saving properties. Polymer protector plates are strategically perforated for maximum breathability and air ventilation. The upper and lower frame offer an integrated dual pivot hinge gear system that follows the natural movement of the knee and keeps the protector well positioned during all movements without compromising mobility. These are foam backed for added comfort and have an ergonomic fit. A hook and loop dual strap closure system with silicon pull tabs give an easy exit and entry as well as a personalised fit.
