The Kovix KAL14 Alarm Disc Lock is a motorcycle disc lock with an integrated alarm. This has a 14mm reinforced locking pin with a highly durable stainless-steel body. This is Sold Secure Motorcycle Gold Standard and has no on and off switch. The lock automatically senses the presence of your brake disc and gives a warning tone in 5 seconds. After 5 more seconds, the unit will burst out a continuous 10-second long alarm if the lock is moved or shocked. The lock will usually fit brake discs less than 7mm in thickness. Please note that the pin size is 14mm and will only fit through holes of a larger diameter on your brake disc. Very easy to use. An essential.

I'm leaving this review as a good deed as bought my Kovix - along with the alarmed chain - around 6 years ago. Both still going very strong. This disc lock is my daily for when I'm hopping about as easy to attach and I'm generally in earshot of the alarm. I also bought the holder for it which attached to my bars so not carrying the weight of it on me (and it's chunky for it's size). I also like that it clearly visible but not garish and looks premium rather than cheap, the double bonus of this that as such also a dissincentive for any scroats having a gander. You get what you pay for and at 6 years in trouble free it's already very good value for me and more so going forward with no signs of wear whatsoever. (I think I've had to swap out the battery once so far!) Recommended highly - as it the alarmed chain.
